About GIACC-Germany
GIACC-Germany is an independent not-for-profit organisation based in Oldenburg, Germany. It is an Affiliate of GIACC-International.
It was founded in 2014 by Carsten Ahrens, Horst Mehrtens and other leading industry professionals. In 2022, it was re-launched under the leadership of Carsten Ahrens as GIACC-DE e.V.

Objectives
GIACC-Germany aims to:
- Increase awareness in Germany of the damage and risks of corruption through workshops, training and publications.
- Encourage both public and private sector organisations, whether working in Germany or internationally, to adopt a strict anti-corruption policy, and put in place effective anti-corruption procedures in accordance with ISO 37001 Anti-Bribery Management Systems Standard.
- Support the provision by German universities and technical colleges of an anti-corruption module as part of the syllabus, so that students enter the workplace with the knowledge and ability to avoid, prevent and deal with corruption.
