Transparency

In the case of a public sector project, the project owner should establish a public website on which it promptly discloses information relating to the project, including:
- contract details (contract terms, price, drawings, specification, programme)
- major sub-contractors, suppliers, consultants and agents
- beneficial ownership of project participants
- variations to the contract and rate adjustments
- construction progress, extensions of time and delay damages
- claims, defects, court proceedings
- payments
- audit and independent monitor reports.
The more information that is publicly available, the greater the opportunity for personnel, business associates, or members of the public to report suspicious circumstances.
