Records
Each party to a project contract should prepare and retain appropriate project records which are adequate:
to demonstrate compliance with the contract, including with quality, quantity and programme requirements
to justify any claims, approvals or rejections in relation to payments, rate adjustments, additional costs, variations, extensions of time, or the levying of damages for delay.
These records should include e.g. contract document, drawings, specification, photographs, delivery notes, equipment and personnel time sheets, quality tests, quantity calculations, certificates, approvals, programmes, minutes of site meetings, contract variations, instructions, claims, invoices, payments.
