Quantity/quality: Review correspondence

Obtain RA’s, project engineer’s, BuildWell’s and relevant sub-contractor’s correspondence files relevant to the issues in question.  These could be electronic or hard copy, and could include letters, emails, electronic messages and file notes.

Do these reveal any matters which are inconsistent with other quantity and quality records examined, or the test results?  E.g.

• that BuildWell has written to the sub-contractor or supplier complaining about incorrect quantity or quality
• that an internal note from BuildWell’s site supervisor to BuildWell ‘s project manager refers to incorrect quantity or quality.
