Contractual documentation: Technical Specification

The technical specification provides detailed technical requirements in relation to the contract works.  For example:

• required ground conditions at foundation base
• required dimensions of materials and equipment (e.g. steel thickness, ducting width)
• required performance characteristics of materials and equipment (e.g. concrete strength, air conditioning output)
• the type of fittings (e.g. lights, taps)
• material and equipment measuring and testing requirements.
