You are the sales director of a company which is bidding for a contract. You attend a seminar organised by your industry trade association. During the coffee break, you talk to two of your competitors. One of them mentions the contract, and suggests that there is plenty of work around, and it is stupid that you are all competing so vigorously on a project. He suggests that your companies could come to an “arrangement”.
